The new edion
"Die Bromelie"
|
On the following pages we would like
to introduce ourselves and our bromeliads.
The bromeliad family is a large plant family
consisting of approximately 3000 species. You
will hardly find so many scurrile, fascinating
and inspiring species in another plant family.
Especially the grey or white tillandsias are
getting more and more popular. Most of these
beautiful species can be successfully cultivated
on smallest areas. Most bromeliads, and
especially the tillandsias, are as easy to
cultivate as are other house plants. Knowledge of
the natural habitats where bromeliads grow will
help you to satisfy the special needs of your
plant. You can find more information here......

 |
The intensive occupation with
bromeliads is also a kind of practiced protection
of species. Where direct success may not be
noticeable on a wider scale, more results and
direct contribution to species conservation can
be observed through the passing on of information
and ongoing cultivation by plant enthusiasts.
